I bought this series with tripedation because I am a lousy bundle reader. I get bored with reading them in a row and I can't force myself to stop and read something in between. I didn't have that problem with this series. I found myself eagerly looking for the next installment.I found it interesting, hilarious at times and extremely entertaining. I loved all the star wars like being that were painted in the series. The interaction between the human and them was great. I was looking for the 4th one when I finished these three.
I highly recommend the series, after all how many times in your life will you be able to picture yourself with a gorgeous, sexy, knock your socks off PURPLE alien. I found that the most intriguing idea in the world. I think I want one.

I am glad that I waited to read the Alien Abduction Books. I have read every shapeshifter, Freakin,and the Furry (would not let me use the 3 letters that say what the series is) books that Eve has written. I was not sure about Alien's though. When I saw that the 3 books were in a bundle I decided to get them. BOY am I glad that I did. They are just as entertaining and funny and sexy as her other books. Since I just bought the bundle I didn't have to wait for the next book to come out. I have already downloaded the Mercenary Abduction. I can't wait to start reading it.

I just started reading the first book and I'm am about to go nuts. I usually don't write a review until after I have read a book but I'm just on Chapter 2 of the first book. I understand changing up the language a bit but really! You can say a** but not f***? What is "frukx"? Everytime I see it, it makes me want to stop reading. I'm trying to work my way past it and if I do i can change my rating but at this very moment, I don't see that happening. Really!?!
Ok. I have edited my review and it's definitely better as the story goes on but that beginning just got close to my nerves..LOL.
But it's a good read once I got past that!
How could I have waited so long to read Eve Langlais's Purple Warrior books? From the Renowned Tren, the Scourge Jaro,to the Dual Terrors Brax and Xarn; never a more incorrigible group of heroes have I come across. Not to be forgotten are the human heroines Megan, Aylia and Louisa; snarky, feisty and willing to put up with the idiocy that seems to extend to even alien males (just don't let the guys know).
Anyone who reads this will find themselves giggling, snorting and full-on belly laughing at the shenanigans the heroes get themselves into, and sighing along with the heroines at their oft times misguided efforts at romance. A more enjoyable space romp I've not come across, and to say I really like the anthology is an understatement. I would heartily recommend this to anyone, whether they are into the genre or not.
I love Eve Langlais' books, I think I love Eve Langlais. I want to take her out for tea or a beer and talk and laugh myself silly because that is what happens when I read her books. This 3 title set is my first foray into Langlais' scifi writing and does not disappoint. All three books have her trademark banter (much of which was read to my husband because he had to know why I was laughing so much), the strong and well matched characters that I've come to expect in her books - though they're not repetitive, I never have the feeling that I'm reading the same characters again and again - they're individuals ... who are all believable and funny. Believable scifi in a romcom novel? Yes. Eve Langlais has a talent for building her fictional worlds with more than enough attention to detail that the reader knows that she takes her writing seriously but not so much that one feels she's writing her version of LOTR OR that she really believe this is all real. The backstory is there, clear & understandable and complete - enough to move the plot along but not so much that the story bogs down for a political dissertation or the history of the elvish language.
I realize now that this is a lot of review that's all about to boil down to this - for a rollicking good read that's all about entertaining the reader - grab these books and settle in for a light hearted good time.
Accidental Abduction
An alien abducts a drowning woman by accident. A talkative, curvy woman. A brave one at that. While he may have abducted her by accident and is annoyed by her constant chatter something draws these two alien beings together. They may fight but neither are a match for their attraction to each other. Now while they're arguing and having at it like lust filled bunnies she's afraid that she's going to lose him. Already abducted once it happens again and she's often pricked with sleeping serum.
The strange ship they're on is a technological wonder and the shower is made of lasers. Lasers, people! How cool is that? I wouldn't have minded learning more about that ship. It was soo cool.
Intentional Abduction
This one made me giggle. The idea of a grown, possibly seven foot purple alien getting kidnapped by a human is just funny. Even funnier still when she was so serious yet so very innocent. Both are deadly in their own right and their attraction proves they were made for one another. They take turns with dominance and kidnappings and their verbal sparring is just hilarious.
Dual Abduction
Squee! Two sexy warriors, one determined teacher, a multitude of mischievous young adults create a wonderful mix of hilarity and pain. Kidnapped by little green goblins will ruin anyones day, but with the prospect of being sold into sexual slavery? This one strong willed woman and her equally strong students fight back- even against their rescuers. Once rescued the girls play a game of havoc while the teacher battles desire for two virile males. The journey is filled with hijinks and moments of violence, but one thing is certain, I was never bored.
